Click For A Video Clip of the Boat In Action Description This 2001 Sea Doo Challenger 2000 is the perfect balance between Power and Size. It has seating for 7 with a front bow area, yet sports the same engine as the large Islandia, the Mercury 240 EFI. But in this package, makes this a Ferrari on the water. The powerhead is brand new, it was installed as an insurance claim by the previous owner (State farm paperwork was confirmed) and has been properly broken in. I had it compression tested by an authorized seadoo dealer (Nielsen Enterprises in Villa Park, IL). We used it all this year and had a blast. I put a brand new large marine deep cycle battery in it, new NGK plugs and water separator fluid, plus had the dealer change all the lower drive fluids when they compression tested it, so everything is in top notch condition. I purchased new polished chrome trailer wheels for it (I can't help myself when it comes to things like that). So you can tell, that this boat has been well taken care of. We are consolidating a few vehicles such as this boat, our 2000 Islandia (23ft Seadoo) and my 1998 Kawasaki ZX-11, and hopefully, we will be able to get some type of boat with a cuddy cabin or maybe a go fast, not sure yet. Either way, we have owned all Sea Doo boats so far, we started with a 1995 Seadoo Challenger 15' (Single 110 Rotax), then went to a 1997 Challenger 1800 (Twin 100 Rotax), then to the 2000 Islandia (Merc 240EFI). So we know our Seadoo boats. We picked this baby up this year to have some fast fun. This boat as the same Mercury 240 EFI M2 Sport jet as the Islandia, but what a world of difference it is in this boat. This boat flies 55-60mph. On the water, that's flying. Comparable go fast boats maybe go 70+ and cost hundreds of thousands more. Sea doo boats are great because they are minimal maintenance, are ready to go, run with about a 1 1/2' draft, easy to beach, and they really have a great classy look. Fit and finish is great. This boat turns on a dime and needs nothing but a new driver! ;) I have been too busy lately to list this boat, but if we don't sell it this year, we'll just store it for the winter and sell/trade it next year. However, if you are looking for a boat like this which has a brand new engine that has been mechanic and real world tested, then this would be the one for you. It has been stored on the trailer indoors. Pump and lowers are all in excellent condition.
