1978 Sleekcraft Jet Boat with Roadrunner trailer Vehicle Description 1978 Sleekcraft Jet Boat, I purchased this boat a year ago with hopes of redoing it into a hot little toy for those hot summer days. The boats fiberglass is in very nice condition, (which is why I purchased it) it has the very rare flip top engine cover, I have taken out the motor , it had a spun main bearing, and gutted the interior. It still has the Berkely Jet Drive system installed. It has a universal jet drive so a number of motor options could be used on it.I have since purchased a BIG block ford 460 engine that I planned on installing, I have the complete exhaust,(chrome headers) intake (Edelbrock aluminum), carb (rebuilt Holley 750 Double Pumper), ignition(accell) and other parts for the ford setup. I have the factory aluminum foot throttle pedal also. I planned on having the boat painted to match my truck and the interior redone aswell and then rebuilding and installing the big block ford engine. All parts that I have go with the boat. It comes with a 1978 single axle Road Runner trailer that came with this boat new. I have been on this boat with the previous owner and was very impressed with it, so much that when he spun the bearing I got the chance to buy it, and did. Unfortunately I dont have the time or finances to finish it so I guess it has to go. Fast and Fun, great for skiing, shoots fifty foot rooster tails if you want to. Great winter project for someone to finish what I started. Fresh water only boat. Pick up only!
