delgado2pete Store Houseboat [ 48 foot 1968 steel WILL LOOK AT ALL OFFER Vehicle Description This is a STEEL hull HOUSEBOAT... 48' in length...12' inside from outer deck handrails... It has a large lower MASTER QUARTERS below...with HEAD, small LAVATORY and stand up SHOWER on this level private by closing doors.. coming forward on this same level is the GALLEY...with decent size rectangle STAINLESS SINK.. reasonably deep..surfaces nicely... UP a small set of steps is the SALON which doubles as the " wheel house"... From the BACK windows of the MASTER QUARTERS is a door that leads to the outer back deck...( under this deck is the ENGINE COMPARTMENT or HOLD)...this ENGINE HOLD AREA feeds back into the center of the boat HULL ( under the wheel house or in the bow of the vessel ) which has TWO (2) 45 GALLON TANKS, non-leaking... used for FRESH WATER... hot water heater location is in this area... The SALON has HARD WOOD FLOORING. The OUTSIDE decking surrounds the living section of the HOUSEBOAT as you see in the pictures... a very nice and reasonably spacious front BOW... servicable BACK DECK with a steel LADDER that gives access to the UPPER DECK above the GALLEY and MASTER QUARTERS..Side DOOR entrance into the SALON... The vessel is designed as a SINGLE ENGINE MARINE FORD V-8, In/Out STERN DRIVE, has an ELECTRIC POWER PLANT ..none of these items are hooked up at this time..I have suffered major HEALTH SET BACKS, and unable to do the work myself... We have had this boat on LAKE BELTON in TEMPLE TX. for the last 2 years... during a horrific flooding season, and VERY POOR MARINA MANAGEMENT, the vessel sunk... It was raised, flushed and cleaned out as best I could aquire and hire help to do so... I have been in the process of replacing and updating... I am at this point today...We were told the Engine, outdrive and Power Plant that I have now ( I replaced with these listed items) is in operating condition, just needs to be hooked up. The boat ran BEAUTIFULLY and handled the large lake with no problems what so ever up until the flooding and the poor quality and lack of integrity on behalf of the Marina Management...The boat had RAIN WATER in the back end where it was exposed OUT from under the shed and when the Marina manager saw this, he and his crew lifted the boat up, using the Marina Barge that they used to tow boats around and do repairs to the piers, shed etc...and the water that was then in the bilge ran to the front bow and sunk the boat...as there was no electricity to pump the water out as it rained... these were RECORD RAINS amounts and FLOODS.... the Marina had lost electricity and man power to properly secure our boat and many others at that time.. The owner of the Marina FIRED the Manager and help... bu alas the damage was done... We live approx. 200 miles from the Lake.. The interior of the boat needs work cosmetically as to be expected consideration what happened... the flooring is good, the panel works needs paint and.. the galley cabinets etc... Outside it needs top paint or a real good clean up...If you are a " handy man " and or have time to do this.. you would have a GREAT HOUSEBOAT.. She originally was designed to sleep at least 6 inside ...the small galley stove also needs repair, we have some parts to the stove that will be included. The boat is located at 1122 F.M. 2271, Belton, Tx. 76513... up on DRY LAND in a boat yard.. for your personal inspection, and you are welcome to inspect the boat Any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to E-MAIL me.. for my AUCTION is ABSOLUTE and it is FINAL... I reserve the right to require any bidder with low number of FEEDBACKS to E-MAIL PRIOR to bidding ..I will respond to ANY and ALL E-Mails..Upon Auction ending a DEPOSIT of $ 1,000.00 ( ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS ) is required to be deposited into my PAYPAL ACCOUNT....the balance thereof to be paid to my PAYPAL ACCOUNT within 10 days,.... upon all proceeds clearing, the Vessel and CLEAR TITLE will then be transferred over to the buyer Shipping and Documentation at Buyer's expense ( the moving of the vessel to your location, title transfer etc.. )....
