Catamaran Cruiser Lil hobo 26' Houseboat Mercury 115 Vehicle Description This is a 1990 Catamaran Cruiser LiL Hobo houseboat, or at least it use to be. This boat is completely fiberglass top to bottom, the cabin was wrapped in white vinyl siding, and the original railing was replaced with white vinyl fencing. The post are treated 4x4 post with vinyl sleeves. The carpet is grey outdoor carpet inside and out. (there are a couple melted spots on front corner of the deck where the generator got too hot once. see pics) There is a four step aluminum ladder included that can be mounted on either side, and removes easy to store inside. Inside there are two couches that fold down and make a wall to wall bed. (8ft x 6ft approx) I didn't screw them down so you can take them out and put them out front if you wanted to. (these need to be recovered, we have comforters draped over them.) There is a microwave, A/C with remote, and a dorm size fridge all new two years ago. Nice wide counter top for making sandwiches. Storage under couches, beside microwave, and under the counter. 12 volt power strip by the counter keeps you cell phone charged. Basic AM/ FM/ Cass player with two speakers. Cabin has 12 volt lights as well as 110 volt lights, and a receptical if you run off a generator or plug in at a marina. (I use a 2000 watt generator from Northern tool by all power, 1.6 gallons of gas runs 11 hours running lights, a/c and the fridge. Have to turn a/c off if you need to use the microwave so you might want to get a larger generator.) (my generator in not included) The cabin is approx 10' long by 8' wide, and the front deck in approx the same size. 8x10 deck on top with ladder also. Side windows slide open and sliding glass door and rear doors have screens so the breeze can blow thru. Now for the mechanical part, There are two truck batteries one for the motor, one for the cabin. We put the 1984 Mercury 115 on it at the begin of summer this year, It has a new key switch with electric push in choke, and new throttle and shifter cables. The motor has a new water pump also, it starts easy and idles good. The carbs need to be cleaned (3 of them this is a 6 cylinder), it runs good, but at top speed you get some burst of power and hesitation. Someone stole the front cover off the motor at the marina, doesn't affect anything but cosmetics. (some here on ebay i'm sure) This boat has stayed in fresh water all summer for two years at lake Murray here in SC. It does not leak. Now to the trailer, this is a home built trailer modeled after a Hustler pontoon trailer. It is built out of heavier material, and has treated wood. (it is not carpeted as we only used it twice a year to put it in and take it out of the lake.) The tires are good on the left side, the ones on the right are dry rotting so I will put new ones on the right side before you pick it up. Bearings were repacked at the beginning of last year, and new bearings installed where needed. The lighting all works. This boat is rather heavy, so I hope you have a real truck to pull it with! The family mini van, or import suv wont cut it! (The trailer does not have brakes.) Well, I think I've covered it all. We have enjoyed this boat very much, both rebuilding it and using it. We are not able to use it enough, do to the fact of my work schedule as a truck driver. I hate to see to go, but it's your time to enjoy her. We named her "Lost in this Moment" (from the Big and Rich song.) There is a $500.00 non refundable deposit via paypal at the end of auction, rest in CASH when you pick it up. (Lexington, SC) There is a reserve, and It is for sale local so I reserve the right to end this auction at anytime. This is a used boat with NO warranty and is being sold AS is where is. You are welcome to inspect boat in Lexington, SC by appt only. Questions (864) 237-0010 Jason.
