Catamaran deck boat 26' with Honda four stroke-warranty Vehicle Description Great catamaran style deck boat. Drives and performs just like a pontoon, but is much nicer looking and awesome to get in/out of the water with. Very stable platform for fishing. Has enough speed to be a good family boat. The Motor was replaced with a 90 hp Honda Four Stroke that just purrs. It has a 5 year warranty that expires on June 19th 2012! The lower unit and motor oils were changed less than 5 hours ago. The inline gas filter was also replaced. This motor is awesome. The gauges do not work, as they were for the original motor, but I found I didn't need them so I never put them in. The 90 hp is enough to plan the boat off even loaded up with people. Not real fast, but will pull tubers and double skiers easily. It run's just like a 25' pontoon would with a 115hp. The way the hulls are designed, it planes off much better than a pontoon. The boat is as solid as they come. NO structural issues whatsoever. There are the normal dings and scrapes for a boat this old. I got the gel coat back some with some good ole elbow grease:) The big opportunity is the upholstery. No tears really, just all the stitching is coming loose. If you know how to sew, you might be good. I was going to put slip covers over them but never got to it. The trailer is custom built. Heavy duty tandem axel but no breaks. I think it's only a couple years old. The tires still have all thier tread. I only used it to launch in my niegborhood. This is a great boat for anyone that wants to take a lot of people out, or wants some room to move around when fishing. I used it for both, and I can tell you it's awesome for striper fishing! I have clear titles in hand for both trailer and boat.
