60 foot catamaran charter boat reduced by $100,000 us Vehicle Description Hello there and thankyou for looking. I am selling my 60 foot bueller brothers catamaran the beam is a wopping 24 feet wide. Ocean mist. Built in St Vincent, grenadines in 1995 was operating and a charter boat in Barbados uptil 2 and a half years ago. Ocean mist was the official press boat for the mount gay rum regatta for 6 years in a row, she is well known in Barbados and around the islands. My business partner and I purchased the vessel 3 years ago in Barbados to run as a charter business and 2 years ago we took the boat to Trinidad for an extensive refit which included 2 new cummings 500 horse power engines and zf gearboxes. Sadly my business partner died and the boat has been sitting at peake marine. chagaramus Trinidad ever since. The refit was not quite finished as after his death as I ran out of money.Finishing the vessell will cost less than 25 grand u.s I just had the engines lifted on the new mountings last week, pictures included as the motors shipped from cummins Miami cost $67,000 us dollars also she has brand new zf gearboxes with zero hours on them. I have receits for work which totals over $100,000 U.S dollars that includes new inch and 5/8 drive shafts, rudders, engine mounts, engine rooms sprayed and insulated, rebuilt 15kva Kubota genset. 30,000 in reinforcing fibreglassing, hulls have all been re faired so there are no chips or dings.New bottom paint also last week and she was thoroughly cleaned and tidyed up. The vessel is a Barbados registerd charter boat and she is fully licenced for 60 people. This could be a unique opurtunity for the right person as with this investment it will entitle you to a work permit and to live in Barbados. There are only 25 registererd charter boats in the whole of Barbados and Ocean Mist is one of the largest on the island.. The average price we charged was $75 for a 3 hour cruise and the most people I took out in a trip was 54, do the math and you will soon realize that she is a great money maker. To register a new boat in Barbados for charter is now 40 percent duty of what customs value the boat at, with Ocean mist she is already a duty paid licenced charter boat. This boat new was over a million us dollars. She has 4 double staterooms, which need cosmetic work and 2 single bunks forward, we never used any of the cabins as we were just doing day trips and only let customers in the main saloon to go to the bar. Our plan was to turn the main saloon into an english pub so as to make more money on drinks etc. She has 4 showers in total and 4 bathrooms, seating on the back deck is for over 20 people, 15 on the flying bridge and the rest on the bow. .The gross weight of her is 22 tons.
