Carolina Skiff J16 fishing dive cruise boat EXC. Cond Vehicle Description For Sale: 2005 Carolina Skiff hull mint condition buffed, sealed, polished. Factory installed Large Foredeck dressed with aluminum chocks and S/S Cleat Factory installed Large Aft deck with S/S cleats Owner installed stainless steel hull stiffeners and grab bars. These are from 10 wheeler truck driver cabs. They take the vibration out of the hull, offer a man sized grab bar and really look great. 2005 trailer with Bearing Buddies updated 3/2009 with glide sticks on carpeted beds and rectangular LED lighting system fully submersible. 1996 48 SPL Johnson motor. This is the commercial version that does not have VRO oil injection system. Owner operator controls oil gas mixtures and avoids metering valve failures. This is basically a 50 hp and the last year before they complicated outboards with computerized systems. Hydraulic assist and trim works perfectly. The motor was rebuilt 6/2008 (20 over) updated with new charge coils, solonoid choke, ignition coils and rebuilt carbs 6/2009 The motor runs very strong and is great on gas. Carolina Skiff says max horsepower is 40 HP but many people think an extra 20% is a good thing (please keep our secret). When the boat runs at full throttle it is only for adults to be driving though. 3/2009 new prop and Doel Fin 6/2009 new scuppers installed 6/2009 new Racor fuel filter 3/2009 new Carolina Skiff Center Console installed. 3/2009 new Teleflex steering installed, 6/2009 new S/S steering wheel.
