21ft Aluminum Airboat WARP drive Radial Engine w/trlr Vehicle Description 21' x 8' All Aluminum Airboat with 6 blade WARP Drive prop with Trailer This is a really neat airboat with an exciting past ! We are offering it to the eBay market place with a low opening bid and a low reserve. This boat was constructed in the late 70's in Perry FL (The Big Bend area), it was said to be ordered by Pablo Escobar for the Mediene Drug Cartel to run drugs from the 'fishing' boats out in the gulf up the flats and inland through the swamps. It is extremely well built and sturdy. The bottom is approximately 3/4" thick solid aluminum. The huge deck area allows plenty of space to add seating for a tour boat, or leave as is; it is a great fishing vessel, lots of room for nets or traps. I was told that one could fit numerous 'gators on it if needed. This Airboat is outfitted with a Supercharged 9 cylinder Continental R975 Radial Engine that is 975 cubic inches holding an 6 blade WARP drive system. There is a huge aluminum fuel tank. The trailer is in good condition and fits the boat nicely. It is a gavinized tandem axle trailer. There is an Engine Manual included. This vessel has been in sitting out for some years and we have not been able to turn the engine over, siezed. The starter does engage. We just do not have the time to work on it.
