12 FT. Airboat with Fresh Motor & New Propeller Vehicle Description Up for auction is a 1989 12 FT. OAL 3 person Airboat in great condition and very reliable. The hull material is fiberglass and is 7FT wide. Propeller diameter is 56" and blade width is 4.5" The cage diamter is 70" in diameter which was built to accomodate a larger prop. I have the brand new wood 2 blade 66" dia. 6.5" blade width propeller that I will sell with the purchase of the boat for $400. Or you can buy it seperately for $500. The engine does not come up on RPM's with the larger propeller, so I had to put the original back on, although I'm sure with a gearbox or belt drive the engine would swing the larger prop. just fine. It runs great with the 56" prop. and is a whole lot of fun, I just wanted to see if the engine would swing the larger prop. It is powered by a 4 Cylinder Nissan engine with approx. 100 HP and has less than 25 hrs on a rebuilt top end; starts real nice and runs good. Engine has a brand new starter as well. Boat comes with 2 life jackets and a fire extinguisher that needs a charge. Trailer is also included and pulls very well.
