This is a very nice Windrider 16 with all the extras. The hulls are all in good condition with normal wear and tear. Minor scratches only. Windriders are a one person trimaran with the option of having another 1 or 2 people riding along on the trampolines. Steering is done with foot pedals like on a kayak. The one up for sale in this auction is the yellow & red boat in most of the photos. I show the yellow one only to show some details, such as the motor mount and an example of the rope steering. Boat details and extras included. 2000 Windrider 16 yellow and red. Boat is Titled, Registered and insured in Missouri - I have all the paperwork. Yellow - - Spray deflector - - Boom vang collar and boom fitting - another expensive option. - - Motor mount, can be used with an electric trolling motor or a small 2 HP gas outboard. - - Electric bilge pump (custom addition) - - Tiller steering. Tillers shown but not attached. Can be adapted for rope steering which I prefer. - - Custom lexan shelf that fits below the cockpit cover to provide handy place for electronics and other miscellaneous gear. - - Battery tray, mounted behind seat. Will accomodate up to 100 amp hour battery. - - SAIL. I have two sails for this boat. The original stock sail with vertical battens for the short mast and the battenless sail with the mast extension. ONLY ONE SAIL IS INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION. Windrider started with the shorter sail and then began selling boats with a longer mast and a taller sail. I bought the boat new with the shorter sail and then later bought the tall sail with a mast extension. Windrider sailors still debate the merits of each sail. In competition, neither reliably outperforms the other. For this auction I will allow the buyer to chose which sail they want. Both sails are in used by good to very good condition. Both have been always stored inside out of the weather. The tall sail does have a small tear on the tube portion, that has been repaired with sail tape. Both sails perform like new. Trailer details and extras included. Long (brand name) trailer. Stock for Windrider 16's Trailer is Titled, Registered and insured in Missouri - I have all the paperwork. Tires, wheels and bearings in good condition. Stock lights have been replaced with more expensive more reliable L.E.D. lights. Wiring is good. Trailer is road ready. 1 7/8" hitch size. PVC pipe tube attached. The mast can be carried in the tube if so desired for long trips. With the sail carried off of the mast. Nice when driving through snow and other winter crud on the way to Florida. The mast and sail can also be carried on the trailer with the sail rolled around the mast. Better for local driving providing a quicker set up. Items not included - - Paddle - - Motor (I have extra trolling motors available) - - Battery (A 7 amp hour battery will be more than enough for the bilge pump, and up to 100 amp hour battery can be used if using an electric trolling motor. - - Sail cover. A sail cover is not included with this boat. Delivery Pick up by buyer. Delivery is not included in the price. However, if desired I will deliver boat and trailer within continental U.S. for 80 cents per mile. If requested I will provide 2 hours instruction on how to assemble and disassemble boat. Sailing instruction might be arranged.
