12' Asa Thompson Sailing Skiff Vehicle Description 12' Asa Thompson Sailing Skiff built by historic Lowells Boat Shop in Amesbury, MA (www.lowellsboatshop.com). This boat is like new and would retail for about 9k new. Boat comes with 1 pair of Shaw&Tenney oars, 16' unstayed mast and boom, sail (marconi), rudder, daggerboard. Breasthook, thwarts, and transom are varnised mahogany, rail is oak. All fittings and fasteners are bronze or copper. This boat is great, I bought it unused and used it for a few days this past summer in Maine. I can throw it in the back of my pickup which is one of this boat's most redeeming qualities. Boat sails and rows great, it's a real gem and great for a lake house and a family who wants to teach their kids to sail. Get in touch if you have any questions.
