Hobie 33 - Priced Right!!!!!!!! Vehicle Description Offering for sale the Hobie 33 named Hi Tech. This boat was purchased used in 1994, raced and cruised in fresh water since that time. The boat is currently in the water on Lake Tenkiller in Eastern Oklahoma. This is a 1983 retractable keel model. The trailer is included and is in good condition (purchased new in 1994), ready for a trip across country. Until I stopped using the boat 3 years ago because we moved to Louisville, this boat was in pristine condition, better than any Hobie 33 we've seen in the country. It has competed very well and is also a very comfortable camping/cruiser. This boat is really in reasonably good condition. The interior is nice, with the upholstery having been redone in early 2002, the deck is in excellent shape, the hull is in need of a good cleaning and a bottom job. There is a small scrape/gouge on the starboard side of the boat caused by a minor run-in with a power boat, it really isn't that bad. The toe rail has a bend in it at that area and again, it's not bad, the boat is completely usable, simply cosmetic (a professional fix couldn't cost more than $700-1000 and it isn't even necessary to fix it unless you are wanting to return the boat to pristine condition). The engine is a 4 stroke long shaft Honda purchased in 2002, has very little use on it. Everything on the boat is included: the life jackets, spare parts, air conditioner, sails, etc. The sail inventory includes a #1, #2, #3, all in fair condition - great for cruising, average for racing. There are 2 mains, one dacron main from 1995 in fair condition - great for cruising. The second main is a racing main and is in excellent condition, used only in about a dozen regattas and very well maintained. The boat comes with 3 spinnakers, the original spinnaker - well worn, a .75 oz spinnaker in good condition and a 1.25 oz 90% spinnaker in good condition. Most of the sails were made by UK Sails. All of the instruments are in working order, compass, depth, speed, etc. Included is a working stereo/CD player w/speakers that can be attached to the stern rail for cruising. Magma grill included. All of the takedown equipment is available, the harness, the keel winch (this was modified with an electric wench which works great), the blocks, etc. The engine boot is missing. All lines are included and are numerous and in good condition. The hull is gray, the deck is white, the stripes are red. The mast and boom are also red. There is a pump head installed, we have taken this in and out dependent upon whether we are in racing mode or not. Currently, it is installed and plumbed through the hull. I will try to add more pictures, it is difficult as the boat is out of town. All of the paperwork comes with this boat, all of the manuals, documents, etc.
