1962 Sam Crocker 30 Sloop 30'
1962 Sam Crocker 30 Sloop 30' Vehicle Description Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 30' Sam Crocker sloop. Hull Construction: marine plywood on fur frames, hull covered in fiberglass at time of construction. Basic hull design: hard chine with counter stern. Very simple, fun, fast, and easy boat to maintain. 18 hp Tohatsu outboard and multiple gas tanks can be added to the boat for a reasonable extra fee but does not come with the boat. Has a sink, freshwater holding tank, toilet, and sleeps 4 comfortably. Main sail - 100% jib - sturdy 150% genoa. Aluminum mast and boom, stainless steel standing rigging roller furling on boom, and wire halyards with rope tails. Manual radar reflector. GPS - (new 2000), depth sounder, and VHF - masthead antenna. Cool boat built by a very reputable builder. Less than 6 ever made. Lots of recent repairs and maintenance. The boat is 85% ready for the water. I am sad to have to put this boat up for sale but I cannot afford to own it and I no longer live in Maine. Selling for a fraction of what I have invested in the boat. I paid $3000.00 for the boat 4 years ago and have invested $4000+ in parts, materials, and hauling it to various places to work on it. This will make a great boat for the right person-someone with a little time, space, and some basic boat maintenance skills. Please feel free to call me with any questions about the boat. Nothing is to be implied about the condition of the boat. I have described it to the best of my ability, please arrange a time see the boat in person to make sure you are clear about what you are bidding on prior to bidding. Jake215-595-6434 More... |
