1979 Sunfish A+ Condition, Fresh Water only, Must See!! Vehicle Description 1979 AMF Alcort Sunfish Sailboat Excellent condition boat! I have owned this boat for 4 years now and I had many enjoyable hours of sailing out of her. She is sailed easily by an individual, but can hold up to 2 riders with reasonable comfortability. She shows minor wear and tear. She has minor scratches on the bottom of the hull as well as on the deck and bowsprit from the lower boom of the sail. Also, there are two very small holes in her sail from the previous owner (both are barely big enough to be noticed but they can be seen in the pictures) which have not grown and have not affected her sailing at all the entire time I've had her. She is also missing 1 of the rings that hold the sail to the booms, but this is a minor part and was missing before I got her. It has not affected her sailing in anyway. Does not have a trailer, but we used our pickup truck or our van roof to move her to and from the lake. She weighs approximately 150 lbs and 2 men can easily lift her. Also included in the sale is a PVC pipe with end caps I purchased to keep the sail water-proof and safe during travel and storage. I would love to keep her but unfortunately I need the money to purchase a car... I am relisting her because of a deadbeat bidder!! PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO FOLLOW THROUGH OR DO NOT HAVE THE FINANCES TO PURCHASE HER!
