1988 48' Hatteras Sportfisherman Convertible w/ Diesels Vehicle Description THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST PRICED MODERN STYLED HATTERAS AVAILABLE. SHE NEEDS A LITTLE TLC BUT HAS RECENT ENGINE REBUILDS AND EVERYTHING IS IN WORKING ORDER. EXPORT YACHT SALES OFFERS THIS BOAT SUBJECT TO PERSONAL INSPECTION, SEATRIAL, AND SURVEY. This 48' Hatteras has a design layout that provides the owner with plenty of comfortable, convenient space. Two staterooms provide sleeping for four. The master stateroom has a private head with full stand-up shower and simulated marble counter vanity. The fully equipped galley is located on an intermediate level on the port side. A large salon has an "L" shaped couch, occasional chair and Hi-Lo Cocktail Table. Rigged for fishing, the large cockpit (135 square feet) has a Fighting Chair. This boat was used as a commercial fishing boat and is need of some TLC. The interior needs to be redone, and it will need some fiberglass repairs around the cockpit.. Engine(s): Detroit Engine(s) HP: 720 Engine Model: 8V92 Hours: 800 Cruising Speed: 24 knots Max Speed: 27 Knots Fuel: 812 Water: 184 STANDARD FEATURES The spacious Salon is laid out with a complete entertainment center and teak paneling and cabinetry. The interior fabrics will need to be replaced to change this boat back into a yacht if it is not going to be used for commercial fishing anymore. There is a closet for a washer dryer but it was removed for storage. I believe the old washer and dryer are available but not sure if they are in working condition. Galley The galley has coran countertops, and all the original appliances. Bosch Dishwasher GE Profile Microwave/ Convection Oven Sub Zero Under the COunter Fridge and Freezer Euro Kera Stove Electronics There are some updated electronics and all of the electronics seem to work well accept the radar which is hard to read. Standard Horizon GPS 1000C Furuno Video Sounder FCV-292 Northstar 941X Standard Horizon Spectum Mechanical The engines were rebuilt a couple of years ago but the engine computers were not reset and the hours were not recorded. They currently read under 900 hours. The Stbd. Computer currently has a glitch in it but there are rebuilt computers available. One gear oil cooler needs to be replaced and the Stbd Gears are only three years old. Electrical There is an Onan 12.5 Generator on board with 1995 hours. It runs great although will not charge it's own battery.. Additional The owner of this boat purchased the boat and let a Captain run it and charter it as trade off for free fishing. The boat was Captain maintained until the economy took a turn for the worst and he coudl not afford to pay dockage or maintain the boat anymore. He returned it to the owner, and it needs a lot of TLC. The owner has no use for it and it needs to be sold!!
