18ft. SunRay Fish Ski Bass Boat 90hp Mercury + EXTRAS Vehicle Description The owner of A to Z Trophy is the person selling this boat. Please check out my feedback to ensure your dealing with a responsible seller. I have disclosed everything I know about the boat. Please contact A to Z Trophy with any questions you have. Every item listed goes with the boat plus whatever miscellaneous stuff I have like extra drain plugs, extra trailer light assembly, rope, bubble box aerator for baitbox, etc. It all goes. Read the entire listing, look at all the pictures. The Mercury 90hp Motor was installed in Aug 08. A compression test was done and it tested at 50 compression on all 3 cylinders. 50 compression is the maximum. A new oil line was also installed last year. The motor runs AWESOME. 2 New batteries that hold a great charge, you will fish all weekend long without loosing power. A dual bank on board charger makes charging simple - connect an extension cord and that's it. A new wireless remote control for the trolling motor makes fishing the banks a breeze and never miss a second of fishing time. This boat is so fun to operate I hate to sell it. It's like a jet going through the water. It takes rough water very well and on a calm day you feel like your gliding. This boat is a water skiers dream come true plus it's set up to fish all day long. I added many new items last year and created 3 different spots for rod holders. The fiberglass is faded in some areas. The flat areas that get most of the sun is faded. I have been using a restoring polish I got at Cabelas that helps with the oxidation and that's helping bring back the shine. Most areas still shine, polish up very nice and show the true beauty of the color. Gauges - Dash gauges that work are Speedometer, Gas & the Depth Reader. The RPM & Boat Leveling Gauge worked with the original motor but not with the 90hp Mercury. You would need to contact your local Marine shop to see what can be done about New gauges or if the originals can be incorporated with the Mercury if you want them to work. The hole you see in the dash is where the old ignition was. The toggle switches & functions work - 1 for bilge, 1 for aerator & 1 for navigation lights. The bow where the trolling motor plugs in has 3 toggle switches and the plug outlet. The outlet works for the trolling motor but I'm not sure about the switches. 1 is for battery charge 12/24 which there is a built in plug located next to the gas cap but this plug isn't wired - the on board charger replaces this function, 1 is for motor tilt (tilt works on the shifter) & 1 is to switch between battery 1 & 2 which I'm not sure if this option works. The hull/boat body has had some work done on it. I am the third owner of the boat. The original owner did whatever patching or body work done on it. The patchwork is solid. Included are pictures of the hull and the patching done. Please note I would not sell a boat that leaks or takes on water to anyone. I have been on the lake several times for many hours at a time. This is a solid well built boat. The hull is solid & the floor is solid. 1 board is rotten - this is the board inbetween the 2 small seats behind the drivers seat - above the baitwell. You don't stand on this board. No impact on the stability or walk area. This boat doesn't leak or take on any water from the patchwork done. The pictures you see of the boat on Clear lake in Waseca, Mn taken on 5/07/09. I took it out, tested out the motor. THE MOTOR RUNS GREAT! FIRED RIGHT UP! Reason for selling boat - Boat was to be stored 1 block away from Clear Lake in Waseca, Mn for the summer so I could use it without having to drive several miles to a lake. Owatonna's lake doesn't allow gas motors only trolling motors. That option of storing the boat fell through, I don't have a large enough spot to store it for the summer time and I don't want to drive several miles to the lake so I am selling the boat. NO RESERVE AUCTION - Price starts at $5,500.00 - winning bidder gets a Fun Boat for Fishing, Skiing or just a relaxing day on the lake. Auction includes: 1988 18 ft. Sun Ray Fish Ski Boat. 1988 Trailmaster Trailer with spare tire. Trailers in great shape. Bearing are in good shape. Tows like a dream - No sway. I have towed the boat 45 highway miles per trip with no problems. 1988 90hp Mercury Oil Injected Motor. Boat: Open Bow with window that opens or closes. Built in Gas Tank - Not sure of maximum gallons but I think it's 20 or in that range. 1988 90hp Mercury Oil Injected Outboard Motor professionally installed Aug 08. 50 compression all 3 cylinders/tested Aug 08 - 50 is maximum compression. New Oil Line installed 08/08. Motor has an alternator to keep the starting battery fully charged while your on the lake. 2 Sets of Keys with floaters - 4 ignition keys plus keys for the lockable front storage compartment, battery & gas compartment, trolling motor lock & boat trailer lock. Minn Kota Co-Pilot New Wireless Remote control ( Best Invention in the Fishing World with a Wrist Strap or Cover Mount to attach to your Fishing Rods. Attach to your Fishing Rod and you donā??t miss a second of fishing time when your fishing banks or tight areas). Purchased 08/08. Foot Controller also works as a backup or if you prefer that method of trolling. Rear mounted bracket for a stern trolling motor. Humminbird Wide View Fish-Depth Finder - Screen has a permanent imprint/moisture inside - It works fine but the screen isn't in top shape. You might be able to see the imprint in the picture of the Humminbird. Dash Console Humminbird Depth Reader. 2 Live wells/1 Drain Line Needs to be replaced. I only tried the livewells once and after I drained the water and realized the line had a crack in it I didn't try it again. This was 08/08 so everything works but you'll need to get this fixed before filling the livewells. I only fish catch and release so I didn't need the livewells when fishing. Built in Bait well located in-between 2 small seats towards rear of the boat. New Bilge Pump - Purchased 08/08. Ski or Fishing Rod Storage - as seen in the pictures 2 rods next to the small port (left) seat and 3 rods where the ski storage area is plus 1 more Rod Holder not pictured. The rod rack underneath is made out of PVC pipe & disassembles very easy. The rod rack is home made and might not fit your fishing equipment. I spent alot of time cutting out the PVC to fit underneath just right. You may modify any of these real easy or you'll have the design to make new ones to your liking. I use all spinning reels and that's what they are designed for. Front Storage: 4 hatches - 1 - Very Front hatch for smaller items like your trolling motor foot pedal, fishfinder, etc. 1 - Portside (left) Hatch with White Seat Cushion that flips up is also for storage of small to medium items - Bags, Lifejackets, etc. 1 - Built In Cooler for Drink/Food. This is the Starboard (right) side White Seat Cushion that's flipped up in 1 of the pictures. 1 - Small hatch cover in-between 2 White Cushions. This is the front livewell. It's a large livewell with an aerator. This is also the livewell that has the bad drainage line and shouldn't be used until fixed. The drainage line is easily accessible through the ski storage. Rear Storage: 4 hatches - 1 - Large hatch holds gas tank, 2 batteries & dual on board charger. Not much more room left but for a lifejacket or 2. 1 - Portside (left) hatch is a rear livewell. This is a large livewell with aerator. If you choose not to use the livewells these are also Large wet boxes and create alot of storage room. 1 - Starboard (right) hatch is a built in wet box. Could be converted to a livewell also but I used it for storage. 1 - Small hatch in-between 2 small seats. This is a built in bait box. 4 permanent seats/1 Driver, 1 Passenger & 2 childrens seats which could be modified if desired. 2 Bass Seats - Removable - 1 seat with an adjustable pedestal & 1 seat with price tag still attached. Bought both to have a matching set and they match the color scheme of the boat. 2 Original Seats (backrest folds down) - Removable Am/Fm Radio & Cassette Player (I haven't tried the cassette player so I don't know if it works or not but the radio works well and gets great reception with a small antenna. This is located in the passenger seat council where you see the Black cover. Stern Ladder for your waterskiers or swimming - I never used it but it's solid and I would rely on it. Fish Net with storage saving handle. We caught alot of bass the very first day out fishing in this boat. A great sign. Fire Extinguisher - Purchased 08/08. 3 Life Jackets & Throwable - Purchased 08/08. Horn & Whistle - Portable air horn still in package. Several Drink Holders Boat cover along with non metal bungee cords. The boat cover has a couple of small holes in it. It's also canvas and not entirely waterproof. I use a cheap waterproof tarp over the top of the cover which works well. Waterproof cover for the Motor. I will include whatever manuals I have. This boat complies with U.S. Coast Guard safety standards. Boat is rated for 5 persons or 750 lbs. plus gear & upto 150hp motor or 1300 lbs including motor, gear & people.
