i havent seen them yet..but it looks like the pricing is pretty close to getting a killer custom..my GUSA Wahoo JR Jigging Rods have been getting alot of use with the torque reels..and guys love them..

Those penn's seem a bit pricey...not sure how they will compete with the Shimano Trevala rod's which are less then half the cost. I could also buy a custom jig rod that matches my other setups for around $300. I'm sure the torque's are nice, but Penn would have a tough time selling them to me. Also, with all of Penn's gear(minus gold label reels) going overseas, I'd question the quality. Penn was never known for great blanks and rods to begin with, hopefully they will improve their rep with these rods. Guess we will have to wait and see how they perform after a few guys get their hands on them.
