Flatbottom Aluminum Jon Boat W/ Trailer and Outboard Vehicle Description I have a 14 foot flat bottomed Jon boat for sale. I have owned this boat since 2002 and it has been a great watercraft. The boat is a standard aluminum 14 footer with a 4 foot beam. The previous owner built wooden platforms for swivel seats with backs that work awesome and are more comfortable than sitting on the metal humps in the boat. The seats are a little worn and may need replacing, but that's just personal preference. The boat comes on a trailer that I just replaced the rims and tires on last summer (2009). The tires still have the stickers on the tread. You can have the old rims and tires if you want them. The boat also has a fire extinguisher, net, and metal creel that hangs over the side to hold fish that you have caught. Now to the good stuff. This boat is also wired for the fishfinder and trolling motor. The boat also comes with a Bottomline Tournament 1100 Fishfinder. The fishfinder is black and white, has a temperature reading, and will locate fish in up to 240 feet of water. It runs off of a 12 volt battery that you will have to buy. For the battery, im throwing in a battery charger that i use to recharge before i go out on the water. I also have a Minn Kota Endura 30 trolling motor that comes with the setup. I believe that it has 30 lb thrust and a 30 inch shaft, and has a 2 blade prop. It powers the boat fine when fishing structure. Finally, i am including my Johnson Seahorse 6hp with external gas tank. It is a mid seventies model with a short shaft. I think it is the perfect size for the boat. It has worked fine since i bought it, with only regular tune ups every spring. Last summer though, the spring that recoils the starter string (not sure what it is called), broke. That will have to be replaced before the outboard will start. This boat has been a joy to own as it is low maintenance and very relable. It wont blow you away with speed, but it is fantastic to fish from. The boat is pick up only, but i would be willing to drive up to 2 hours any direction from cincinnati, ohio to meet if it would help out (i would only need a bit of gas money). Good luck and if you have any questions, please feel free to ask!
