this ecu is brand and it will fit a yamaha 250HP 4-stroke outboard. this program in it is an "06" program but it does retro fit years foward and back. the cheapest i found it online was for $914 at boats.net. ill sell this unit for $500 plus shipping. i guarantee it will work when you get it. i will not sell this unit if you are not sure if this is whats broke on your motor. it can be used as a great spare to have on hand. i will not haggle the price. any questions call me jeff....(609)994-8710
