Seriously, what did you put together?

Nothing put together items were used as barter with natives in the carribbean during a sunken treasure expedition. No pics were taken for sake of secrecy. This ship was found and the booty has been excavated. A local paper found out and ran a story so the find is now public knowledge. Now comes the fireworks as to who owns the find!
