    I would put the 40 on that and get something lighter for the 30.

    With that deal Bass pro had on 40's I got 2 of em but I had already ordered the Tn30 last week... Now just trying to get the right rod with the reels.. Thanks for the advice Jim! Another jigging set up

    Seadraggin Im thinking the Saltiga 40 on a 400 and putting the TN30 on a 300.. What you think? THink it would make a good combo to put the Trinidad TN30 on a 300?

    Thats right. You could even drop the 300 down to a 250 or 200.

    What I take on most days now is a light and a heavy. My heavy is 400g/40 combo. My light is a 200g spiral/30T combo. These two can do pretty much everything I need for the whole day.
