    WTB, Grey Mullet in bulk

There has to be a way to buy mullet less expensive.

Probably more appropriate article for the USA

if you find them, let me know because i want some too. i might take the small boat out one of these weekends to look around. our only problem is that when we catch them, they are small...

i know there has to be a commercial market for them. I see them in the fish stores in philadelphia. I figure they have to be frozen much like butterfish

I can get them commercially BUT their scales will be messed up and they will not be uniform in size or anything like that. The commercial caught mullet we have are caught in a gill net and that takes some of the scales off and they may be half a pound or may be 2 pounds and all will be in the same box.

I use them on my dredges. it's very expensive to by from the regular bait suppliers as you know. I'm not real worried about the cosmetics, as I am them being fresh/frozen and being roughly 8"

Try Cape Point Bait Co. 1(252) 728-4364. I can probably get them for you, but they would be fresh and need to be picked up.
