Where to buy lumber to build a duck skiff??
After seeing all these nice pics of some pretty sweet duck boats i have caught the itch and i wanna build a skiff of my own. Nothing to complicated just a 16ft skiff with about a 5ft beam or so. Im wondering where is the best place to find marine grade lumber?? I live in maryland just north of annapolis any suggestions? thanks

If Ignorance is bliss, Why aren't more people happy?
I'm sure there are some local lumber yards - maybe someone will chime in.
If that doesn't work, try http://www.bateau.com/proddetail.php?prod=CS23

me llamo SUPER Dave
Exotic lumber is located behind the strip mall right on 50/301 just before the bay bridge. I get some cedar there for carving occasionally.
Check out www.duckboats.net if you want to talk to a good group of guys that have built a number of great duck boats at home.
