Jimmy Im going to have to disagree with your dredge. I dont think you are not creating a big enough profile to make it worth the hassle. I believe if you are going to only pull one bait from each position on each arm that on a 6 arm dredge not including the center you are pulling 12 baits. If that is the case I would think you should have a minimum of three tiered dredge. If you use strips you can have as many baits on one strip that you have on your entire dredge. Maybe you should consider daisy chaining your ballyies to help create a bigger profile with out using multiple tiers. It looks to me that your dredge seems to run kinda in a straight line. the video makes it look like it is moving because of the surface swell on the water. You really want that dredge to have some kind of side to side working action. When you look at the dredge the first thing that catches my eye is the big weights in the front of the dredge, I dont believe that is where you want to draw the attention. Im not trying to bash or down your product maybe just give you some insight to help improve your product. I have been experementing with the dredge for about the last 6 years religiously. I have pulled real and fake mullets and ballyhoo, plastic strips, clark spoons, bowling pins, shell squids, all kinds of stuff. I hope I helped. Remember just my opnion. This does is not intended in a bad way.

Most of the boys In OI & Pirates Cove use 6 to 8 lbs of weight but thats because there pulling double dreadges..I like to pull a double as well but wasnt able to pack all that for Costa Rica....I like my dreadge deep & under my spread away from any prop wash...

Good eyes Pitch but Yes the weights are to close but again thats because they are for my double dreadge one in front & one In the middle....there are 21 baits total on that dreadge ..I wasnt able to pack my double or triple dreadge to go to Costa rica I almost always pull a double dreadge ...With that said disagree as you may that single raises just as many fish & Is ment for small boat fishing ...Its very hard for most small boats to pulll more then a double. Its also very hard for people new to the sport to manage anything more the the single dreadge...
Now on to stips ect ect ect....Its all In what you like....I feel strip teaser dreadges dont look as real as the tuffhoos & real hoos together I think a sail or white can visualize the tuffhoos better then strip teasers...Have you every been under the water & seen a stripe teaser...? I have Ive seen It on a underwater camera from the side from a charter buddy of mine who did this with another boat to see If It really looked like a school of bait well all It looked like to me & them was a ball of flash granted that my work but It dosnt compare to a real dreadge full of hoos or mullet....If your on a budget you cant rig 4 packs of hoos every day just for your dredge the mixed dredge Is the way to go.

Hey Marty I think hook knows where Im coming from. I thought about not posting but I thought that maybe there are poeple wondering the same as me so if I bring what I see to his attention then he might see what Im saying. Some times things are often viewed different from a different set of eyes. This is what I see. Maybe he can take a piece of my advise and use it if not thats fine also, it is his dredge cause it is his way. I just though I would share with him some things I would do to it. If it helped that would be great, if it didnt then thats fine too but I thought it cant hurt by me saying what I see through my eyes.
