My buddy in VA Beach a tower for his boat off of a boat that wasn't being used anymore. Anybody know somewhere near VA where there might be some used towers that would fit my V20? It is a dual console.
Thanks

I am not sure if you will many or any at all. I worked with one of the 1st and the top wellcraft dealers in the US and I have never seen a v-20 with any type of top other than a bimini.
Even if you find a used one that is close from another boat. It may not be a good idea. Tops should be balanced and not top heavy for the legs of it. If the top is fitted wrong it can lead to fiberglass damage and premature wear on a lot of things including welds.
Good luck in search. I would try and call some of the local shops and see what they think. I am not a welder or a pipe fitter and could be wrong based on the area that I worked in. Boat/fishing wants are different in almost every region.
There is a place that I have passed in the VA area. I think its after White Stone or maybe just outside of Deltaville. Just not remembering the name at the moment and the exact location. Might be Gloucester County?
I was thinking something like this, just with a fiberglass top and a folding tower. This is a cuddy cabin V20 and mine is a dual console, but I don't know why the tower would be any different. Just get some curtains on the front to go with it.
I think mary is speaking of marine fabricators in topping va they do custom top work. ther is also a getleman in kilmarnock that does this. he did a hard top on a buddys 23 triton and it was really nice.
Thats it, I was close, too many little towns that you blink an eye and you pass thru. I have passed it several times on the way to VA Beach but have yet to stop.
The facility from the road, looks very nice and clean. The appear to have plenty of work there is always a new project there.
I would start with Marine Fabricators in Topping they probably can point you in a direction to start.
The other place you can try is Crown Marine in Deltaville Bubby Crown is an awesome builder across the board. Not sure if he does this directly but may be able to help you. I have his number if you need it, just email me and I will send.
Also I would check around all the Marina's and yards in Deltaville, there is all kinds of shops in and out of there. You might be able to find one by taking a drive thru any of these older places. Seeing a boat of similar style and find out who owns it so on and so forth. Maybe you will get lucky and find an abandoned boat or something worth salvaging. A lot of the older marina's any where matter of fact might have one laying around physically on a boat that would work.
You can also check Internet boat sales such as boattrader and boats.com, and maybe yachtworld and find a similar boat and cheap worth snagging.
Hope this helps I will keep my eyes open in my travels.
You may want to take a look a Boston Whaler's 21 Venture and similar models as well as Wellcraft 200 & 220 Sportsman, Aquasport and Grady also make dual consoles of that size
