Sorry it took so long to respond but out of town. I do reeeel well, for the size of the boat. Running around 3500 rpms puts me around 29 knots with a half a tank and I hold 290 gal. I get about 2.5-2.7 mile to the gal. Now this changes with full fuel and higher RPM's. Worst I have gotten is 1.8 in heavy seas up and down on the motors. You know how that goes. The New 250F with the timing and everything on it get even better. Its not a speed boat but it realy shines in the rough water when the lighter boats get pounded. Serious battle wagon. I have a 2002 26 Reg with twin 4 stroke 225's and warranty until May of 2008. Sled runs remarkably well, gets around 1.7mpgs on a full tank doing 35 kts, runs through rough stuff real well around 31kts, has a conservative range of 300 miles per tank and is very fishable both inshore and off. The boat does not flex, very rarely rattles or makes any noise and truly feels, as I described it after my first ride, "like a slab of concrete doing 35 kts through the water." I may be moving up to a 32 Reg, that is the only reason I am considering selling. Boat has a 36 mile furuno radar, polyplanar cd stereo garmin 2010 color gps/fishfinder, and high quality Icom radio.
