Wanted: Gimbel Launcher
I'm looking to buy a gimbel launcher with a 4" adjustable pedestal. It acts as a rocket launcher in the extended position, and as a fighting chair in the down position, utilizing the gimbel mounted in the front. Anyone out there have one for sale?
I don't have one for sale but I believe I know what you are looking for. I bought mine from Release Marine in Florida.
It is a 5 rod launcher with a fighting chair style gimbal on the aft side of it. We mounted it on a chair height pedistal so that you can sit on it and use it "chair style" if needed. Doesn't seem to be a problem at all having it a bit lower when using it as a launcher.
Give them a shout if you can't locate a used one.

Hi Reelaxin:
Thanks for getting back to me. I had one guy get back to me and he said that his gimbel launcher only extends to 27" in height when using it as a rocket launcher. That seemed awfully short for a rocket launcher. I've got one in another boat and the top of the rocket launcher is 36" off the deck.
