For sale 1998 Johnson Ocean Pro 175 hp with electric tilt and trim, being sold with control box, steering, 2 props and shift cables.

As you can see by the pictures below the motor is salt free and VERY CLEAN, no corrosion, light use. It has not been fired up for the season yet. Can be inspected and ran upon request.

The only noticable damage is on the cowling. The cowling is fiberglass and can be repaired. The damage is only cosmetic and will not allow water to pass thru. Pretty easy fix that I can arrange if need be. Otherwise the lower unit needs zincs and proper antifoulant paint and your good to go.

These motors have been pretty much problem free outside of normal maintenace. I do believe that there is a new water pump installed just as maintenace.

As of now its semi sold, the engine is being moved to a local Johnson dealer where the buyer is setting up the compression check and evaluation. Its set to be delivered the week of May 10th at this point.

Nothing is ever sold till its sold but I will keep you next in line, If for some reason things fall through. I really don't suspect them to as the motor was shut down in perfect running condition and shape.

I will know better as to the status once the deposit is received and I will update this thread accordingly
