Welcome aboard skipper! I moved your thread over to the listed Items for sale so if it pops up you have a chance of recovering it! Sounds like a lot of time lapsed when you realized it went missing. Certain does suck and I wish you well with the recovery!

I would ask around the marina or where is went missing from and maybe check in with the local authorities on it. As sometimes if one thing went missing more than one persons stuff got snatched and maybe they have a record on file..

I will do some googling and see if I can locate it on the internet somewhere for sale. Check Ebay and craigs list and any other items for sale places. those are the two most popular... Also check other area fishing forums for items for sale

Wish you well with the hunt!

Here is one that I found there is no pictures and a very vague description and almosts sounds about right

    http://newyork.craigslist.org/brx/boa/2226598265.html

I would just email them not say anything about looking for a stolen chair and ask for pictures and rule it out from there

Here it is again for sale back in Nov 2010

I could be totally off base but it looks like this guy is selling all sorts of boat parts and could be you know what I could be 150% wrong but sounds to fit the bill

Totally sucks but that is terrific information LL. If the person posting has no luck retrieving, I have a used Murray for sale. Fraction of a new one and depending on your insurance deductible.
may be a good option. Good luck Cap.

I appreciate the response -- have not found it but was able to buy a used chair out of texas -- placed an ad on craigslist listing it as stolen -- hope the chair went to save someone from starvation and not placed in a pipe an burned for the thrill!
    regards chuck

While we are on this topic

If you come across a sh_t bag that has a 120 qt Outerbanks/Icey Tek, along with a B-14 (30 x 60) Canyon Tuna bag, a boat load of striper gear (mojos, tomic plugs, parachute rigs, spoons, etc..) as well as a pair of Nikon binoculars that I got from my dad who died two years ago, let me know.....I'd like to visit them.....
These dirt bags have been hitting boats in VB all winter, sounds like they are up and down the east coast and is definitely someone in the fishing community.

The one area of Sharia Law I agree with....cut the hands off of thieves!
