    Sales help needed

Hi Gang, hope your fishing is going strong!

I have developed an 18 bare bones fishing machine named the Battle Wagon 18. I need help selling and would like to supply my boats to places accross the ocean. The boats are selling strong in the tri state area of New jersey, Del, and Pa; however i believe there is more potential then what the "Salty Dog" and Boat Trader publications can offer. Any suggestions would be greatly appericated!

Please feel free to take a look at pictures and website
Pricing for hulls start at $6500

Have you tried setting up dealerships with marinas? Especially ones in the back bay areas? Looks like an easy boat to pull around and show off. If you could get them to buy just one for their showroom, you could send tons of potential customers to see it. Seeing in person is a thousand times better then in a boat shopper. Where are you located and where is the boat made?

How much water does this boat draw? Whats the deadrise?

What does the 6500 include? Is that just a bare hull or is it hull and console?

    hi,
I have not tried any local marinas in the area of NJ, that is a good idea. I would however like to try at getting some boat dealers in the other states namely FL NC ME etc

The hull draws 5-6" at rest with the motor up
with engine down and at idle the draw is around 1' depending upon how the boat is loaded. and on plane the draw is less.

$6500 includes hull, console, 4 cleats and 3 D rings!

Sounds like you need to get in the truck, hook the trailer up and start driving. You could do NC or ME on a weekend trip. Set up your meetings and get goin. You developed your own boat so I'm sure your a good business man. Just make sure you take shipping into account on the out of state sales. Price of diesel will cost you a lot to just ship one unit. Obviously shipping 3 or 4 on the same truck would help reduce the customers shipping cost.

Thank you all for the kind words!
I appericate the interest, the goal is to get the word out about my great hulls. Dont want to get to big and keep building the 18s well. Plain and simple i will give the fishermen what they want! I have received many phone calls with requests for demo rides, and thats what its all about, i will let the boat sell itself, as i am a terrible sales person! maybe need to get Capt Joe on here!

Admin, lets put together something a repair section or something, i would really like to place ads with you. After seeing how many people called just from my small thread its worth it to help everyone out as much as i can.

Call me when you have time or i can phone you!
