Just wanted to update the ad but couldn't find the edit button:
Did some compression testing this weekend (the quick method 4 or 5 cranks); all reading above 170 with highest being 185...also, I have not rec'd the deposit for my trailer so I'm offering in this OB/Hull ad...total package is only 10K firm...the trailer is an Performance AAL22-24 tandem with surge brakes purchased new in 2004...

My father purchased this boat in 2000 for fishing in the gulf down in FL and in 2003 replaced the johnson 2-stroke OB with an new 2002 Yamaha TXRA 225 4-Stoke with all rigging (hydraulics steering unit, tilt motor, instruments and throllte) in 2004 he decided that he needed a flats boat to reach his fishing spots on the gulf...so I had we purchased a new Performance Trailer model AAL22-24 tandem trailer in FL and drove down and brought her back to PA...since then she has be fished off the jersey coast, shrink wrapped each winter...like the ad said she has some minor issues as follows: soft deck in between the helm and cockpit (easily traced and replacd with some marine decking), the cockpit entrance to the cuddy is that fake wood and needs to be replaced, most of her deck plate should be replaced, we had the Capitan side window shatter on us last season, the transom is strong just a little flex but considering her age it's outstanding, the OB wi ll need new zinc next season and new oil filter, oil and spark pugs this year (she has been wintizered every year), several nicks and digs on hull, no antenna but the VHF is included no other electronics are included, does include 2 batteries new last season, we replaced the electrical wiring for the outboard and bilge pump last year, her lights did work last season, but I would recommend replacing all lights and wiring (she still has her original electrical box and wiring just not hot), she has 100 gallon tank aluminum not rust or leaks, I'm assuming it's not the original but really don't know...overall I would classifier as in good condition just needs the TLC but nothing major...like the ad states she is seaworthy and ready to drop in the water this year; overtime if your willing to put some time into her and some cash she could be beautiful again...The only reason I'm selling her is she can't get me to the blue water off the Jersey coast...last year in late aug we laid into a mako @35 mile off...by the time we landed her we were 55.78 miles from the inlet...the wind kicked up and 5-6' sets came...it took 51/2 hours to get in...thats when I decide to get a bigger boat...bottom line is that the OB and the trailer are in great condition just expected wear and tear...the hull is in good condition for her age...depending on what type of water your on she could last 10 or so years...my asking price is firm because it only includes the OB with 226 hours and all rigging (8000); the trailer (1000)...the hull isn't even considered in the price so you can consider it free...give me call at 215-380-4886...thanks

if you were any closer to sc i would gladly take this rig off of your hands. the only reason for not getting it is the distance factor. good luck on the sale and meanwhile i'll keep wishing.
