Rod Extenders?????

I have a local Captain that was asking where to get rod extenders? Does anyone know of a good supplier to help this capt out?

Is he looking for something like an uprigger? or something like pictured??? The one in the picture is made by Birdsall Marine... I would also think that most Welding shops that work with Aluminum could easily make some...

Thanks, but no. He's looking for the one's that go in the rod holder so you can use short butt rods in trolling rod holders.

Also - If he is looking for Butt extensions for short butt rods to fit Heavy Duty Rod Holders, Tournament Grade tackle makes swivel inserts that also help to extend the butt...

I've been using these for a couple of years now for my planer. No issues to date...

there is also a rod "extender" that goes on the butt of the rod. they fit

I am a regular customer at Fishermans outfitter in Glouchester. Johnny White is a stand up guy and runs a great shop geared towards the big game offshore fisherman. I bought the gimbal lifters from him 2 years ago and they worked out great.

absoultly the gimbal lifters are a great item. work great, i have used them. and the swivels

some guys maybe looking for "rod extenders"
which they can use in the chair and belt, nice double duty piece
