    Para Tech Sea Anchor

I have a 15 ft. diameter Para Tech Sea Anchor for sale. This sea anchor is a great piece of safety gear plus can be used to point the nose into the waves for a much smoother night while chunking on the drift. It's in excellent shape with no rips tears, line or chute degradation.

The 15 ft Para Tech Sea Anchor is recommended for boats 30ft-40 ft weighing approximately 25,000 pounds.

The packed dimensions are 10" diameter x 15" tall weighing 20 pounds.

Includes: Deployable Stowage Bag, Heavy Duty Shackle, Float Line, Instruction Manual.

NOT INCLUDED: Floats, Anchor Rode, Swivel Shackle, Boat (Sorry!).

New this is priced at $859.

    My price... $450 plus shipping...

Note that the photo in this ad is a stock photo off the web site. Here is the Para Tech website for more info...... http://www.seaanchor.com/seaanchor.htm

How well did that work on your Ocean yacht? It seems like it would have been undersized based on the specs that you noted. Or is it it big enough to slow your drift when fishing but not enough to slow you in an emergency?

Sorry guys.... the sea anchor has been sold.

Fishmagnet.... I never got the chance to use this sea anchor on my boat... right after I bought this one, I bought the right sizes one (24 foot) for my boat. You are correct in that for storm purposes, the 15-footer is not sized correctly, but I thought that it would work for drift purposes.....never got the chance to test the theory....
