Prices sound good anything to keep people from spending money at sunset marina,,,Hope they go broke... if they treated people any worse they would have to whip them.....former sunset customer...

why do you not like sunset we keep the boat there and no problems

4 years ago called in march to update my payment for year told me outside storage was not going to be happening... ever since they have done outside storage... end of previous year weather kept me over two weeks ..called to apprise them of problem.. told me TS.. wanted $350 for two weeks.. was honest and said I would write check but would cancel it and they only charged me $200 tried to get slip after I saw outside storage was happening Manager told Me TS.. Never missed payment or complained.. they just had too much money.. Indian River loved my company .. Fishermans marina .. loves my company.. sunset Loves your money... and theirs.. will never spend another nickel there. and I make hundreds of thousands if not millions of nickels..

CaptD, sorry you had a bad experience with Sunset. I have never had anything but great experiences there, and at OCFC (which is under the same ownership).

I have had my boat at sunset for a few years and my experience has been quite the opposite. These guys have bent over backwards to accomodate me. The forklift guys are very friendly. The gas dock people are great. the management has listened to my concerns (whenever I had one) and Provisions is convienent and always greet you with a pleasent greeting. I am sure everybody has their bad days but I can't think of a more professionaly run marina. Even when they screwed up and broke something on my boat. they fixed it in a timely manner. It aint cheap but I guess you get what you pay for!!

be careful throwing nasties at Sunset and the Fishing center, They do have the only haul out in OC. I have been at fishermans for 13 years, Its a old decrept marina ,but Bodean puts up with more shinanagins than Sundset ever would and he does buy beer on occasion! But I have had no problems with Sunset, hauled out there for many years, always worked with me, yard help is great, store people great , office people great. Yes they are expensive, but if I spent over 60 million to build a first class marina, I would be expensive too.

Phudson, I think you will enjoy Harbor Island, make sure to go have a beer with Spunk (the bar owner at the reel inn) he is a helluva guy. Ask him abouyt running on the bar, pocket ripping, guest bartender night and all the other fun things that used to go on in there.

JW, I have to agree with you about not "pissing on" Sunset and OCFC. You may not ever want to tie up there again, but you may NEED to haul out there sometime. And For what its worth, both Rolfe and John Gudelsky have bought me drinks
