I am sorry am I breaking a rule? I am pretty sure I read "You post and help others then you can promote your products with no problems."

not breaking a rule at all. but it will give you ALOT more exposure and alot more respect from alot of others on here if you pay the money and promote it! this site is free to everyone and advetising is not free! there is trouble in the marine industry getting people to spend the money to advertise on here and someone might already carry your product on here and have it for sale and pay for the advertising.. i know there is no rule and it might help some people out but it would help out the industry and SFC members and admin to keep this site free! the advertising fee is not over prices and is really the cheapest around for the best WORLDWIDE exposure.. I am not bashing your product nor i am bashing what you are doing.. i actually like what you are selling but.. on the other side of it this site needs guys like you to help keep it free for the rest of the world! would like to see you become a sponsor or maybe work with Chuck and mary from hinches, keith from alltackle or maybe some of the other sponsors and advertisier on here to help carry and promote your product!!

I am all for helping guys out and i think this could work for a lot of people on here! just making some suggestion to get you alot more exposure and get your product out there!! hope this helps!!

Didnt mean anything bad by last post!!

    Thanks for the explaination

I appreciate the expaination and I understand what you are saying. I quickly read the guidlines and posted ad, not meaning to offend or step on anyones toes. I will take a look at the advertising portion of this site and see if I can't get on here by paying. Thanks for the reply no offense taken.

I use to be a Stringer/Wader fisherman, but after a small(6 ft) shark took it away from me in Drum Inlet I took up fishing in boats. That was a surprise, he nearly knocked me down going for those flounder and drum. My leg looked like someone had tried to sandpaper the hair off!

    downfall

That is the one downfall about this stringer, it is made of metal and it is strong so if you are in shark infested water you had better be able to pull that stringer off quick. If I am somewhere I know there is going to be sharks like the surf I tie my stringer off on a pole or something other then me, I had the same thing happen but it was attached to a pole. I saw the pole was knocked over in the surf, I went to pick it back up and there wasn't a single fish left on it! Better them then me though.
