Funny you mention the Goldmember and PV. I designed those colors especially for PV....it was kind of an experiment at the time but I wanted to make a head that was pure gold in color with a black top.Well, I made the insert with chrome mylar tape and it looked sic...really reflective. So, I thought...why kill the reflection with a black head? I ended up pouring the first layer with a minimal amount of translucent black pigment and the rest gold with metalflake. So the top of the lure has this greyish/silver/clear stripe with the rest all in gold. I liked it so much that I kept the recipe. So my hats off to PV and the fish that roam her waters.

It's hard to tell but the top layer if the head has a gray tint to it. Now, I make them with a scaled witch tape adding extra color and dimension.
