The one pictured is a 4 1/2 oz. jig, i make these from 41/2 oz TO 12 oz. weights. The hooks like you see in the pictures are xxx strong thick shank Mastad Saltwater Hooks, the USA Silver Eagle is beside the hook to show the large size, and thickness of the shank, all the hooks are wired threw the head with 4000 lb. wire and can,t be pulled apart under heavy fish fighting. These have taken many big ones with no problem,s. This Blue and white is a hot color as all saltwater fishermen and women know. I also make these in 3 other colors, the weight that i make these in is 4 1/2, 6 1/2, 8 1/2, These jig horazontal and can be jigged at any deep you see tuna or marlin. I have a lot of people asking me for these since i started making these 4 years ago, i make these as a special orders alone with all the other regular jigs i make, most of my buyers tip the hooks with a nice bait fish and jig it. These big jigs produce tuna, and marlin, and others. If you want them in 12 oz. weight i special make them also, except the cost is $ 17.00 each. These are Tounament catching jigs, and when you find tuna around your boat and cast or drop one of these down and jig it they will hit like crazy. These large jigs can be fished also like this cast out and let drop to desired depth and jurk you rod and reeling as you let it drop for a minute or so then reel and jerk, around a school of tuna with the hook tipped with fresh oil scent baits these are a killer fished this way, this is what makes these large jigs better to use then vertical jigs, these are different ways they can be used, because of the presitation and colors in the water. Lots of hair that pulsates, and has silver shimmers in it, and will not pull out under any catches, glued in with marina oppoxy. Here,s some more BIG jigs you asked for, One is my Golden Boy, Bright Yellow, Silver head with green /yellow and silver shimmers, yellow/green simulates a Small Dorado, or Mia Mia, The all gold is a killer for a customer i have overseas, he gets couple dozen at a crack in the 9 Oz. size, the silver heads do well also, tipped with bait, in the 6 oz. and 9 oz. and even 12 oz. size, all of these come with that huge xxx Hook.
