Talking Lets Talk Lures!!!

For years one of my stand out baits was the MAMBA... This was a refined version of the always popular green machine. Unable to leave "good enough" alone we fiddled and refined til we came up with that gem.
The MAMBA came in two sizes... Small was the death on spreaderrs and the larger was a stand alone or daisy chain bait that ran circles around the original green machines.
My factory was crushed by Hurricane Frances two years ago. Three weeks later it was really flattend by Jeanne. Wilma slowed our rebuild but in September we finally got back in production...
During the down time, an old partner from South Africa was taking advantage of my bad luck and selling through the back door to many of my old customers and competitors alike. Basically a common whore... Still his service was so slow and poor that he even lost most of their business.

I have made it a goal of mine to earn those customers back, seek out new ones and push the African right back into the Kalahari where he belongs. That two year period allowed me to do some improvements further still and we developed MAMBA2. We slightly increased the sizes to accomodate the weighted inserts better. We also found room to add eyes to our works of art.

The smaller of the two stands out as what would have to be considered the finest spreader bait in the free world. We increased the size of the larger one almost to the size of our old Wahoo Whoopass eliminating the need for two so close to each oither in size. That consolidation allows us to bring Whoopass quality down to a weighted machine price...

I don't have the time or manpower to rig our product into spreaders or daisies but I know a lot of you do... My back orders are filled and I have a fairly strong inventory. So order away...

Our econo series of baits is also running full swing we have two flat headed models, Squasher and Destroyer as well as Dolphin Killer and Tear Drop (deck stackers) with concave faces... The Tear Drop was redesigned to accomodate rattle eyes and is now being counter sunk to fit better over ballyhoo... Inventories of these are not as deep but we can build to order...

Our larger models will be comming back one by one hpefully by mid spring...

Boy oh boy! You guys want a lot... I spend years refining and creating, I work my fingers to the bone, I cook and slave... but its just not good enough... Now you want to see something before buying? You cant just take my word for it?

The new 2007 Compleat Angler refined gems...

This is the big girl of the new series... Large MAMBA2 / Whoopass...

We use extra long skirts for those who want them. They can be cut for those that like them shorter...

This is the new Standard MAMBA2/ Death Dart

They set the standard for spreader baits everywhere! Absolute dynamite by them selves too...

This is the new Tear Drop/ Deck Stacker

Walk by my boat at tournament time and this is the one you see me with. Now counter sunk so the hoo tucks up inside better...

They are weighted /stuffed and we even run the weight back in an extended neck... That was the charm of the old whoopass was having weight... The older large Mambas were weighted but we had issues on how to get enough lead in there without the resin being too thin. The extended neck took care of that...

You know... I don't even own a scale... 3.25 inches of 1cm stock lead minus 7/64 "... I'd guess about 4 ounces...
