    Lead "trade"

BTH284 and I came up with an idea and wanted to see if there are any takers...

Both of us have need for several lead weight configurations: 1/8 ounce eggs, 1 ounce eggs, 3 ounce eggs, and 5 ounce pyramids.

We have a fair amount of lead, but no molds. Anyone in the NC area willing to "trade out"...you mold us some sinkers and you get to keep the lead (amount to be negotiated).

I don't have the molds for those sinkers, but I do have the lead melting pot. You are welcome to borrow it.

The molds are available from Barlow - http://www.barlowstackle.com/sinker-molds-a.html

or directly from Do-It and they are about $40 - http://www.do-itmolds.com/prodmolds.aspx?c=69

I've also got the molds for trolling heads that you are welcome to use as well...

I'm in Raleigh, so no big deal to get the pot and molds to you...

I'll be glad to chip in on a EG-9-A and a EG-5-LA which should get you what you need and me too. I live in Pittsboro, I have my lead, just need a turn with the molds.

I've got the Trolling Lure TL-4-A and Slip Jig Lure SLIP-6-A molds. I've also got a mold for VERY large bullet heads - 1 oz, 2 oz and 3 oz.

    Just let me know

    Don't telll BTH 284...

About all of those offshore molds or I never get my lead turned into inshore/surf sinkers! He will have 500 pounds of 1/8 ounce eggs or bullet heads to make his trolling skirts with!!

Seriously, I appreciate the offer...I am sure little bro' will chime in tomorrow AM.
