I know Im in late but I just wanted to throw in another vote for the Avets. I have 6 LX's and they are an incredibly diverse reel. They are made from quality materials and are easy to service and work on. Price is right too!

Thank you for the heads up Nauti Nature. Yeah I have been looking into the purple and green reels. Still have not made a decision yet. I know the price went up on Sept 1st so that might hold me off for a while.

Guess I will have to continue with the TLD's for the remainder of the year.

Well that is just great avet. Oh well, I am still going to check with the companies that you guys have told me about. If I am going to buy 6 or 7 reels I want them to be TOP NOTCH! Now who will the lucky company be........stay tuned.

Hey Chris, we just changed out all of our torque 200's for torium 30's. I got them all on ebay because there's no rush and you can be choosey now that the season's over. If you're still looking, I highly recommend them. Price is right (about $140 each) and it seems to be a great reel. We bought just one to try out before the Drum Inlet tournament and it did great. Since we liked it I've bought a total of 8 to have on the boat (we're always tangling a couple up and it's nice to have another rigged and ready). If you want to check them out give me a call. You should still have my number. How was the sauce? Also if you want to buy them all at once, give Affordable Fishing a call. I bought most of them from him. He took $140 each when I offered it to him. He was asking like $150 or so each.
