Just in time for Summer: 1977 Jeep CJ5
This is an awesome 1977 Jeep CJ-5 with a rebuilt 304 V8 motor an a 3 speed transmission and power steering. It has 33 inch tires mounted on 15 inch rims. Stock axles have been re-geared with 4:10 gearing. Jeep comes with a 8000lb electric winch. I will also throw in a High lift jack (The main bar is bent, but can be replaced for like $25,) and a brand new H.O. alternator (never installed.) This jeep runs great and looks awesome. This will make anyone a very nice jeep.
BODY This jeep is in good shape, there are a few rust spots around the rocker guards, but not near as much as most you will find, some surface rust. INTERIOR The interior floor has been stripped of carpeting installed by P.O. and needs sanded down. It has a new back seat. Seats are all black. *The jeep includes a do it your self spray in bed liner complete with everything you need to spray a new floor covering in.* Items needing work: The dash lights do not all light up, just needs some wiring fixes. Fan wiring (heat & air) needs to be connected. (worked Great before disconnection) Also needs wiring replaced for fuel & temp gauges. ENGINE This CJ has a rebuilt 304 V8 motor which runs like a champ (approx 11,000 miles since rebuild). It has a Edlebrock intake and a Holly 4 barrel carburetor. I recently installed an HEI ignition system that runs awesome. It has headers and awesome sounding side pipes (glass packs.) This jeep runs great. You just get in and it always cranks right up, no matter how long it has been sitting. It idles perfect and it sounds amazing. TRANSMISSION What can I say about the T 150 3 speed transmission. Its a great tranny. It shifts perfectly. It does not make any grinding sounds. It never throws out of gear. It is very smooth. It has a new hydraulic clutch set up also. The transfer case is very good also, and the four wheel drive system works well. SUSPENSION This jeep has a 2.5 inch suspension lift. Also included in this auction are a set of 4 inch lift springs (skyjacker) and shocks to fit lift. All you need to get are poly bushings, and U-Bolts. I just never had time to get them on. Jeep is currently sitting on 33 super swampers with good tread left. TOP Jeep has a very nice top. The only problems include: seam undone behind driver seat. This would be easily fixed by a canvas shop. The driver door window does not zip correctly, not sure if this is fixable or not. Either way a replacement would not be hard to acquire. This is an awesome jeep. This is a jeep that you can just get in and drive it anywhere ![]() Will take $3500 from any members here, Just shoot me a PM.

Brings back memories of my not very long ago CJ days
Alas, I can't afford to have a boat, snowmobiles, AND a CJ (had sometimes 3 in my driveway LOL). So the CJ's had to all go (for now). I'd be all over this otherwise! Should sell quick! ![]() |

Had a '77 CJ7, 304 Automatic........that thing ROCKED!!!
The floor rotted out....typical for jeeps of that time period....... We replaced the floor with some speed limit signs (Those things never rust) that magically appeared one day. Lift up the drivers side floormat, SPEED LIMIT 45. Had a lot of problems with my fuel pump in that bear but got to be a regular pro at swapping them out until a mechanic told me what I was doing wrong.
