Paul really makes awesome rods!!!! He made me 2 badass matching 40-100lb shorty bent butt stand up rods last summer and they are awesome!!! They have a ton of backbone but a really sensitive tip so I can tell when those swords are messing with the baits down deep. Biggest sword I have caught on them was over 150 and I was smoked but the rod was un-phased. I would not hesitate to have Paul make me up some more rods when I start adding to the tackle collection again. Hopefully in the spring I will be adding a heavy 2 piece popping/casting rod to my quiver, I hope Paul will build it for me!!!
