Hello, my name is Dan.I'm a commercial fisherman out of Cape May NJ. i am looking for a radar for my 23 mako.I'm not looking for anything high-tec. I just need a little dependable radar so i can run at night. I'm taking the boat out of the water tomorrow, so i figure its a good time to start working on it.

I've actually got two radars i need to sell. Both Furuno, one is an older 1720 (crt) that I'd like to get $400 for. I've got the head unit, cable & dome, but still need to find the bracket & power cord. I also have a Furuno 1623 MkII (lcd) for $900 complete - ready to roll, and shipped in a nice plywood box

I have a Simrad RA40, 10" glass screen, model RB718A,
was mounted in overhead electronics box,
with 2kw 24" dome Model RB714a,
mounted on 6" forward leaning Scanstrut mount. and Vee-tail adapter for light/gps mount.
Was mounted on our 23' Mako. Boat sold to guy who did not want radar.
Used rarely, when on boat for night bass fishing when we had time.
This is old-style high quality Simrad, purchased in New 2003..not the new nav man/ northstar NX junk.
Cables not cut, can demo, or work out deliver.
Located in Little Egg Harbor.

I have an older Raytheon that I took off the boat two years ago to upgrade. It was working fine and has been stored well since I removed it. It is a Model 1200 Pathfinder 12 mile radar. It is the CRT display, so the unit might be larger than you would like. The display is about 7 inches, and the unit is 8"x10"x15". The dome is 24.5" diameter. I also have a second display unit which is stuck on 4 mile range. It could be used for spare parts or you could probably have it fixed or even take the range buttons off the other. I have all the wiring and mounting bracket. I went all over creation in my 26 Fortier for years in fog, rain, and dark with this oldie but trusted unit. I am in Rhode Island. Good Luck.

top dome side hit a bridge and we just tossed it.. head is $100.00 if you want it and you can get a dome or open arry in any different size and cost.
