    GUNS!

I just inherited a few guns from my Grandfather. I am considering selling a few of them to raise some cash for new reels that I am looking at but also would REALLY love it if you gun guys can give me ANY information or comments on any of these guns. Here goes:

    1. Armalite AR-7 Survivor (22g) Cool rifle. Super light and it all folds up and stores into the stock of the gun so you can toss it in a backpack.

2.Colt .25 Vest pocket pistol. Cool little pistol. Fits in the palm of my hand. Internal hammer. Black ... needs a good cleaning but otherwise in good condition.

    3. Ruger Mini 14. .223 rifle. Nice hardwood. Great condition. Two magazines. one 20 round and one 10 round. Have the original manual for it as well.

    4. Walther PPK pistol. James Bond gun. Don't have this one in my possession yet so I cant give a very detailed description. I do know it is still in the original box with original sales receipt. Never been shot.

    5. Universal M1 .30 cal Carbine WWII rifle. Great condition, original strap ... beautiful rifle. You can feel the history in this one when you hold it in your hands. Two magazines included.

    6. (2) Mossberg 12g 500 series shotguns. One is wood and one is black with pistol grip. Both in very good condition.

    7. Colt 1911 pistol with original side-arm holster. I am not sure of the exact age of this gun but I know it is pre 1924. Don't know if I'm going to sell this one but would entertain offers if someone is really interested.

As I mentioned .... I am just throwing these out there to see if anyone is REALLY interested in any of these. If you are ... make me an offer. I can get you pictures of any of them that you might be interested in. Again .... would also love any comments you might have on any of these guns because since they are new to me, I am interested in learning about them.

    Thanks!

Here are few pics. I don't know much history. It was my grandfather's gun ... he was in the war but I don't know how active this weapon was because it is in pristine condition. I'm going to take it to a dealer soon to get the real scoop on it and will let you know all that I find out.

As some of the more informed members here have kindly pointed out to me .... I am no gun pro, so please take any of my statements regarding the history or lineage of the guns with a grain of salt. I am glad to provide pictures so you can make decisions on your own regarding the old guns but basically, I have realized that I dont know diddly about guns

    Some pics of the Mossbergs.

Neither of these two guns are show pieces. These are my go-to, daily protection guns. The wood one has been in my truck box and shows some wear accordingly. The black one with the pistol grip has the short barrell and has been my home protection gun so it has a bit less wear but still a few signs of age.

There is nothing wrong with either of the guns other than some surface wear. there are some rub marks and the barrells have very minor signs of rust on the surface. They could easily be brushed and oiled and look like new.

As far as function ... they are better than new. I fired both of the guns yesterday and they fire as well as the day I bought them but the movements are seasoned and nice and smooth.
