The Furuno 841 Mark-2 is a powerful 4kW LCD Radar designed for smaller fishing boats and pleasure craft. Radar images are presented clearly in 4 tones on the 8" LCD Screen mounted within a rugged. waterproof display.
The 841 Mark-2 has many standard features: EBL, EVRM, Echo Trails, Guard Zone Alarm, Off-center, Watch Mode and Zoom. Automatically controlled receiver tuning and anti-clutter offers optimum long range performance, target detection and simplified radar operation. The guard zone generates audio and visual alarms when a target comes within a user-defined area.

With use of nav data inputs in NMEA0183 format from appropriate sensors, the 841 Mark-2 displays ship's position in L/L or Loran-C TD's, cursor position, ship's speed, course and range/bearing to waypoint, XTE, EBL readout in true bearing and a Lollipop waypoint mark. The cursor position target data (TLL) and radar system data (RSD) can be output in NMEA0183 format to a compatible video plotter or computer.

The compact, waterproof display unit allows for flexible and space-saving installation on flybridges, towers and at your navigation station. The addition of the high-performance, stylish radome complements any vessel.

For those needing a second display at a remote location, the Remote Radar Display model FMD-811 is optionally available.
