I have recently replaced my radar with a new overlay system therefore I no longer need this unit. I used this on a 35 sportfish for about 4 years with flawless operation and great targeting in many low viz conditions. System includes dome, screen and all cable in perfect working condition with no flaws, cuts or dings. Pics on request.

New this will run about 1300 I am looking for a fraction of that listed for 900 obo. Give me a buzz make an offer my gain can be yours too.

The Furuno 1623 is a high contrast LCD radar for pleasure and smaller craft. The display unit has a 6" high-definition Silver Bright LCD screen which displays echoes in four shades of gray. The FU1623 also offers an improved short range target detection feature by using narrower pulse lengths and dual IF bandwidths. Standard features include an EBL (Electronic Bearing Line), EVRM (Electronic Variable Range Marker), Echo Trail, and Guard Zone Alarm. Automatic control of tuning, sensitivity (gain), and anti-clutter combine optimum performance with ease of operation. The 1623 offers four different operation modes: Normal, Off-Center, Zoom, and Watch mode. In the Watch mode, the antenna is stopped and the transmission is off so that the screen displays nav data only. The radar wakes up at a specified time interval (5, 10, or 20 min.) and operates for 10 scans. If targets enter or leave the Guard Zone, an audible alarm sounds, the radar resumes normal operation, and the Watch mode is cancelled.
