Fuel tanks for a 1980 20' Pilot House
I am new to this forum and have no idea if I am in the right place to post this. So please forgive me and help me get this to the correct place if this is not it. I have just purchased a 1980 20' Shamrock Pilot House. Someone had mounted two plastic fuel tanks on the floorboard above where they were originally under the floorboard. I am interested in getting the correct ones so I can get them back under the floor board. Would anyone have any idea where to start? I understand by looking through this forum that Shamrock is no longer in business.
Thanks
Steve

I think Admin is going to let me have this space
Ok, if what you want to do is replicate the original tanks, then contact a custom tank builder (Florida tanks) is my fav.

if theres any way to measure what you have as for space, and supply FMT with the info,or ask FMT's if they have any schematics for the boat. Then get a good installer, gas isnt anything to play with if you have zero experience .Good Luck.

"Life is what you make it!"
You would have to measure the old tanks that are under the deck or the area that they would go in.
I am sure if you google marine fuel tanks around your area you would find someone. You could always give Bluewater Yachts a call I am sure that they have someone or could recommend someone. Bluewater has always been super helpful !
It's actually a very simple process to replace them.
