I now live in the desert so I don't think I'll be needing a CG rescue on Lake Mead!!

Mcmurdo 406 GPS EPIRP. Unit is a few years old. Have owners manual, wall bracket as well as registration card for new owner. You will get everything in the pic.

I think I paid $650 or so new a few years back. Same model are now $800 new. Will sell for $450. Unit is in great shape with all required material. PM me or call 908-963-8830.

I tried to find the answers myself but had no luck.

Is this unit a manual or auto release?

It says the battery life is 5 years. Can they be replaced? How would someone go about replacing them?

Yes, it is auto release and battery can be replaced.
