Dont be mad that we make nice lures , and are not copycats like yours, I could care less about doug, he is a red neck that never been tuna,marlin fishing but is here making lures for 1 guy. Just for the record, doug is mad that we sell more lures than him and he cant take it. As far as night heron goes, I respect the fact that you are selling copycat lures for your customers, if that is what they want then they should get what they pay for. As far as all the shit talking goes your barking up the wrong tree. You for one should get your stories straight, There is one ass talking about skirts, that are ugly but kill tuna up here in the hudson, and one ass saying that bost is making lures for me, that is not true, and of course there are a bunch of you assholes that are brand new to the site with one post talking shit. So I think we heard all the bullshit from your buddys there doug so you call them, but there not your buddys. Have fun copying your lures and leave mine alone!

Wow, rough forum here, A legitimate hard working guy tries to help out people selling works of art, and the cracker jack bunch come out firing. I do know personally as I did watch him and his crew make me $2200 worth of lure in his shop. They thought I was coming out for 1 or 2 , and so did I, until I saw them. Those things are awesome, I sat for 3 1/2 hours as I watched an assembly line kick butt. I am going to try and post the some picks, both boxes are full.

So far the first post from a new guy here on the forum bashing this guy for making lures , calling him a copycat. ext.. then the next guy admits he is a copycat. I think the fatgirl stuff is nice just like all the others. Sounds to me like these guys are slandering fatgirl for something that he is doing. If you other luremakers want to sell your lures then sell them, put them on the forum. I will buy some!

Well I suppose we'll have to start this whole business again of cutting each others throats. So before everyone gets confused and believes Fat Girl let me just say this; he does make some nice lures. If anyone here is interested in buying the real thing instead of some knock-off from some guy claiming them as his own let me know. I am a little bit confused myself as to this nature of Fat Girl's argument. His own people are already cutting his throat. MChi says he saw Fat Girl make lures right in front of him. And so what? Because you see a person make lures they are suddenly the rightful and original owners of the shape? And what does it matter if they look real pretty? Do they work? I have lures that have pearl white and root beer underneath. The absolute ugliest lures you have ever seen. But they are proven tournament winners and constant producers. Also, how does ordering in massive quantity make your lures the best? I would rather know that every lure I sell and put my reputation on the line for was hand-poured individually by the same hands everytime. Therefore making sure there is true consistency in every lure from insert weight to flawless resin pours. That is something not many other lure manufacturers can offer; including Fat Girl Lures. I honestly think that waiting for a custom lure that you or another client has ordered is worth waiting for; knowing that the end result will be much better than something poured in gross by a mass producer. Quantity does not guarantee quality. Also, when it comes to the originality of a lure and it's shape; look at the picture posted by Night Heron. The bullet on top is a nice much newer bullet, obviously copied from the older lure below it. And in fact the maker of the older lure has given permission for a lure maker to produce. Permission is another part of this whole thing that Fat Girl Lures has failed to seek. When it comes to the originality of lures that picture posted with the older bullet and newer bullet says quite a bit. Finally, in regards of Fat Girl saying that my lure producer has ripped off other heads. Those lures sent to Fat Girl were not meant for re-sale, they were sent to him as samples showing the purest quality, and color samples available. If Fat Girl had actually ordered those "ripped off" heads; well then he has just confessed to stealing other peoples shapes and lures. With that said, I have handed out the knives. Have fun.
