CONTENDER 33T FS - TRIPLE MERCURY 300 VERADO'S HARDTOP

Lucky Lady:

What props did they use on the 33T -- Trip Verado 300 application? What batteries? I am also working on a new 33T but with twin 300 Verados. Is any dealership going to display the 33T at the NYC show?

I just ordered a Twin 31T with 300 Verados.

No Contender's at NY Boat I will be in the Venture booth if you up that way. We will have couple different set ups at the AC Boat show with our 200 x 200 booth. I would like to squeeze this one in there too but lacking the room.

For the props I will let you know what size they are one more set to be tested to get the best #'s out of them. Don't know if I will have them till the new year.

Standard factory batteries with the Twin 300's on your 33T I would not go less than 4 batteries on it. Especially if you are doing underwater lights, electronics the whole 9 yards the Verado's systems are thirsty for volatage and it is necessary to have proper volts to operate the steering.

The twin 350 33t I have we went with 4 batteries just to be safe, but thier alternators put out 45-50amps.

Thanks for the information. I just returned from a visit to the factory on Thursday. Have you had any issues with twin Mercury motor configuration and the Merc Smartcraft guages and the Contender 3 fuel tank set up? If all goes well we will receive the 1st 33t hull produced in 2008. Although my profile lists FL as my home, my family is in NJ -- and I am travelling north for the Holidays. I will try and look you up at the NYC show as we plan to attend. I want to meet someone with Contender/Verado hands on experience. Thanks again and Merry Christmas,,,,,

No problems to my knowledge with the gauges, they have been doing twin applications on the 31's and 27's for some time now and they have 3 tanks. Also there is a boat up I think in Mass Rip Tide charters that has twin 275's on a 33t and loves'em to death

I wish we can make your boat disappear, like I said in our last phone call. The boat needs to get listed with a broker down here. I will talk to a few people while I am down here in VA and see what I can do for you.
